Now, on the complaint of another actress (whose name has not been disclosed), former General Secretary of Malayalam Movie Artists and actor Advila Babu has been arrested in a rape case.
According to Indian media, the police registered a case of rape against Babu on the complaint of a female actress. The petitioner said that Advila Babu sexually assaulted her at her residence. A special investigation team is now probing the allegations.
It should be noted that the Hema Committee report on sexual exploitation of actresses in the Malayalam film industry has also stated that the biggest problem faced by women in the industry is sexual harassment and many women are afraid to speak openly about it. because they are afraid that if they say anything about it, the industry will ban them and no one will work.
