On December 9, the Indian and Chinese armies clashed in the Dawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh along the Line of Control known as the LAC. Many soldiers from both sides were injured in the clash. Both parties then left the area immediately. The Indian soldiers were rushed to a hospital in Guwahati.
