London: Indian hacking group has targeted critics of the Qatar World Cup, according to an investigative report by British journalists. But the Qatari government rejected the matter, AFP reported.

According to a database obtained by Britain’s Sunday Times and the Bureau of Investigative Journalism, several lawyers, journalists and celebrities have been hacked since 2019. Former European football boss Michael Platini is also reported to have been targeted by hackers.

Platini told AFP he would pursue all possible legal avenues for the serious breach of his privacy.
