New Delhi: India has confirmed that an Indian missile has landed in Pakistan. India has expressed regret over the incident in which a supersonic missile accidentally landed in Pakistan. The Ministry of Defense said in a statement that a high-level inquiry had been announced into the incident and that it was “comforting” that no casualties had been reported.
The missile accidentally deflected during a routine test in Sirsa, Haryana on Wednesday and landed in Pakistan’s Punjab. Pakistan had sought clarification from India on the matter.
