Players from the state of Jammu and Kashmir have featured in more numbers than any other Indian state in the IPL 2023 player auction.
The player auction for IPL 2023 will be held on December 23 in Kochi.
Last month each team released the list of players they have retained.
In this case, the BCCI has released the list of players who will participate in the player auction for the IPL 2023 tournament. 991 players registered to participate in the IPL tournament. Among them, 405 players have been selected for the auction as per the choice of the teams. Among them 273 Indian players, 132 foreign players. 119 of these players have played international matches. Out of these 405 players, 87 players including maximum 30 foreign players will be selected through auction.
14 Tamil Nadu players played in IPL 2022. 16 players from Tamil Nadu are participating in this auction.
In this case, in the list published by BCCI, the highest number of players of the Jammu and Kashmir team have been auctioned among the Indian states. In the IPL 2023 auction, 21 players from Jammu and Kashmir and 16 players each from the states of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi have been included in the auction.
