New Delhi:

The Monsoon Session of Parliament started yesterday. This conference will be held till August 12. Like the last budget session, the central government is planning to pass various bills in this series as well.

In this case, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman gave a written reply to a question raised in the Lok Sabha. In which he said:

Global factors such as the Russia-Ukraine conflict, rising crude oil prices and tightening global financial conditions are the main reasons behind the depreciation of the Indian rupee against the US dollar.

Currencies like the British Pound, Japanese Yen and Euro have weakened against the US Dollar compared to the Indian Rupee. Hence, the Indian Rupee is strong against these currencies in 2022.
