Male: Maldives President Mohammed Muizzu has said that the Indian military personnel deployed at the second aviation platform will return within the current month. Muizzu’s statement comes nearly three weeks after the return of the first batch of about 25 Indian military personnel deployed in Maldives. These soldiers were operating a helicopter gifted by India. The Indian soldiers returned after handing over the operation of the helicopter to the Indian civilian team as per the agreement between the two countries. The last date for the return of the first batch was set for March 10.

The President said that the process of withdrawal of Indian military personnel is going on under the agreements between the two sides.
