Indian student injured in Ukraine returns home today

The Union Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that the government will bear the medical expenses of an Indian student injured in a shooting in Ukraine.

The war between Ukraine and Russia has been going on for more than 10 days. As the cloud of war engulfs Ukraine, millions of people from various countries are fleeing Ukraine.

Indians stranded in Ukraine are being rescued through Operation Ganga. So far 15,920 Indians have been rescued on special flights, the central government said.

Meanwhile, Harjot Singh, an Indian student traveling in a van with 3 people in Ukraine, was shot dead near a checkpoint a few days ago. He was rushed to a hospital in Kiev, where he is being treated.

Meanwhile, Union Minister VK Singh tweeted that Harjot Singh, an Indian national who was injured in a shooting in Kiev and lost his passport, would return to India today.
