Passenger planes have been banned from flying over Ukraine due to the war. This is because the Russian army continues to launch air strikes with missiles. In this situation, India sought the help of Ukraine’s neighbors and devised a plan to rescue the students. Accordingly, camps were set up on behalf of the Indian Embassy on the borders of countries including Poland, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia. Later, groups of Indians from Ukraine were brought by air to the camps of neighboring countries with proper security. From there they returned home by air.
