GS Lakshmi of India has been appointed as the umpire for the final of the Women’s Cricket World Cup.

The final between Australia and England in the Women’s Cricket World Cup kicks off tomorrow (Sunday) in Christchurch starting at 6.30 am Indian time. GS Lakshmi from India has been appointed as the match referee for the final.

Lakshmi from Andhra Pradesh is proud to be the first woman to be named in the International Cricket Council (ICC) Match Refereeing Board.
