Indian women’s team beat West Indies by 8 wickets in the last match before the final of the Tri-T20I series.

India – South Africa – West Indies tri-series T20 is going on. India and South Africa qualified for the final of the series. West Indies, who had already exited the series, faced India in the last match before the final.
The Indian Women’s team won the toss and chose to field in the match between India and West Indies.

Indian Women’s Team:
Smriti Mandhana, Jemima Rodriguez, Yastika Bhatia (wicket keeper), Harleen Deol, Harmanpreet Kaur (captain), Devika Vaidya, Deepti Sharma, Pooja Vastrakar, Shikha Pandey, Rajeshwari Gaekwad, Renuka Tagore Singh.
Batting first, the West Indies players went out for short runs at regular intervals from the start. The Indian bowlers severely restricted the West Indies team from scoring runs easily. Hailey Mathews, the team’s opener, top scored with 34 runs. Zainda James scored 21 runs in the back row and West Indies scored just 94 runs in 20 overs.
Deepti Sharma, who bowled tremendously on behalf of the Indian team, gave away only 11 runs in 4 overs and took the maximum 3 wickets. Pooja Vastrakar took 2 wickets.

Chasing a very simple target of 95 runs, the Indian women’s team hit that target in the 14th over and won by 8 wickets. The final between India and South Africa will be played on Thursday, February 2.
