India is ranked 85th in the list of world’s strongest passports and now we can realize that the passports of Indians are very strong. London-based global citizenship and residency consultancy Henley & Partners has released the Henley Passport Index for 2023, based on unique data provided by the International Aviation Association. Japan has topped the list of world’s most powerful passports for the fifth year in a row, according to the 2023 Henley Passport Index rankings. India is ranked 85th in the ranking, which allows Indian passport holders to travel to 59 countries visa-free.
Earlier, India was ranked 87th, but now it has moved up two steps to rank 85th. Passport holders in Japan can travel visa-free to 193 countries from Japan.

3. Germany and Spain — Visa – Free Score: 190
4. Finland, Italy and Luxembourg — Visa – Free Score: 189
5. Austria, Denmark, Netherlands and Sweden — Visa – Free Score: 188
6. France, Ireland, Portugal and United Kingdom — Visa – Free Score: 187
7. Belgium, Czech Republic, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland and USA — Visa – Free Score: 186
8. Australia, Canada, Greece and Malta — Visa – Free Score: 185
9. Hungary and Poland — Visa – Free Score: 184
10. Lithuania and Slovakia — Visa — Free Score: 183
If you are an Indian passport holder you can travel to 59 destinations in the world without a visa. India ranks 85th in World’s Most Powerful Passport Index 2023 India ranked 82nd in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. And in 2021, India will be ranked 84th, 2022, 85th and 83rd in 2023.
