The country’s gross domestic product (GDP) is projected to grow at 8.7 percent in the 2021-22 fiscal year.
According to data released by the federal government, GDP grew by 4.1 percent in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2022. GDP growth was 1.6 percent in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2021.
The Reserve Bank had projected GDP growth of 9.5 per cent and 6.1 per cent in the fourth quarter.
