India’s help to distressed Afghans will always be remembered: Taliban

by time news

Kabul: The government of Afghanistan has thanked India for sending 5 lakh doses of corona vaccines and emergency medical supplies to Afghanistan. In August this year, the United States announced the withdrawal of all its forces from Afghanistan. Accordingly, as the United States slowly began to withdraw its forces, the Taliban soon began to regain control of Afghanistan. The Taliban first took control of the border areas, then the rural areas and then the urban areas.

Currently, Afghanistan is aided only by countries such as Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Iran. In this situation, 1.6 metric tons of emergency medical aid items including corona vaccines have been sent from India to Afghanistan. India has announced that all these products will be used by the United Nations and the Indira Gandhi Children’s Hospital in Afghanistan.

Boxes containing these items are affixed with stickers written in aid of the Indian people to the Afghan people. The Taliban government, which has confirmed the supplies have reached Afghanistan, has announced that it will forever remember with gratitude the humanitarian assistance provided by India during the great tribulation. India has also decided to send 50,000 metric tonnes of wheat to Afghanistan in the coming days.
