The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) ended the third working day of the week Tuesday (July 16) with indices slightly lower. On this day, the amount of money traded in DSE and CSE also decreased compared to the previous working day. At the same time, the share prices of most companies and mutual funds traded on DSE and CSE fell.

According to DSE and CSE sources, at the end of the day, the main index of DSE, DSEX, is down 1.82 points from the previous day at 5,483 points. The DSE Shariah index fell by 1.56 points to 1,201 points and the DS30 index rose by 17.08 points to 1,961 points.

A total of 397 shares and units of companies were traded on DSE. Among them, share and unit prices increased in 121 companies, decreased in 221 and remained unchanged in 55.

A total of Tk 564 crore 27 lakh shares and units were traded in DSE today. Shares and units worth Tk 662 crore 24 lakh were traded on the previous working day.

On the other hand, Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) CSCX index is down by 6.71 points at 9401 points. Overall index CASPI decreased by 15 points to 15 thousand 617 points, Sharia index decreased by 2.48 points to 1 thousand 19 points and CSE30 index increased by 41.66 points to 12 thousand 207 points.

Shares and units of 238 companies were traded on CSE. Among them, the share and unit prices of 59 companies increased, 149 decreased and 30 remained unchanged.

At the end of the day, shares and units of Tk 28 crore 47 lakh were traded in CSE. Shares and units worth Tk 69.4 million were traded on the previous working day.
