Warning that those who do not complete the target of naturalization in private companies in the UAE will be subject to semi-annual fines as early as July.
According to the new plan, indigenization should be completed by 1 per cent every six months and the target of 2 per cent by the end of the year.
Private companies that fail to meet the set targets will be fined Dh7,000 for each UAE national not hired by July 1.
According to this, companies with 50 or more employees will have to increase the number of native workers to 1 percent by July and 2 percent by December.
