(24News) The Islamabad High⁣ Court‍ expressed its displeasure with its diary branch ​for entertaining an application filed by‍ the accused. Justice Arbab Tahir summoned‌ the branch ​representative ​and reprimanded ‌him.

The accused, Azam ​Khan, ​had⁤ requested details ‌of the cases against him. ⁤Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri issued a notice to the police ⁢and sought their response. During ‌the hearing, Justice ​Arbab ⁤Tahir expressed his indignation,⁤ stating that the⁢ branch frequently raises​ objections without ⁤justification.

The ​branch representative explained that the petitioner had‌ done​ his biometrics in Taxila. ⁣The court questioned why the application was entertained despite the biometrics ⁤being done in another city. ‍The representative responded that the‍ biometric data‌ of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had previously been ⁤collected.

Justice Arbab Tahir inquired about the process of collecting Nawaz⁣ Sharif’s biometric data. The representative replied that it was done ⁢at the request of⁤ an assistant registrar. The court expressed concern over the lack ⁢of written authorization for​ the biometric ‍collection.

Justice Arbab⁤ Tahir remarked that the court would investigate the matter further, as ⁤the application appeared to be improperly entertained.
