The former senator and current activist Indira Kempis Martínezlaunched a call to the opposition in Nuevo León to initiate a request for political trial against the governor of that entity, Samuel Garcia for alleged acts of corruption.
Whoever was a party and seat companion of the governor of Nuevo León, during the XLIV Legislature in the Senate, regretted that the governor is seeking to position himself as the “most corrupt” of the state leaders “Neither (Rodrigo) Medina nor El Bronco (Jaime Rodríguez) dared to do so much”, he accused.

“It is very unfortunate to see that we do not have a governor if we do not to a criminal who does not stop stealing and to a person who could have made historyis the youngest governor in the history of Nuevo León, I was his partner, his political partner and at some point I also believed that we could carry out a high-impact political project for our state, but it is disappointing to see that he is projecting a person who, it seems, empties all his complexes into stealing and having more money at the expense of the people of Nuevo León,” he declared in an interview with 24 HORAS.
The above, after the newspaper The North announced that documents from the Public Property Registry of Tamaulipas reveal that the governor and his father, Samuel Orlando García Mascorro, They acquired a 700-hectare propertywith a commercial value of around 800 million pesos, which was transferred by the Garza Ponce family, owner of a construction company with the same name that is currently a supplier to the state government.
In this context, Kempis Martínez said that various civil organizations are considering filing complaints with the corresponding authorities in order to hold Samuel García accountable for the evolution of his assets.

“We have to be held accountable, we are living in a time where no ruler –regardless of the party– must be ignored in the face of the demand that they give us an account because there are many questions to answer from where they get the money from, the way in which it has been displayed to them, what they do that is not at all logical or transparent nor does it make sense common,” said the former senator.
However, he said that if the complaints are unsuccessful, there are other means to force him to account, such as impeachment. “If we were living in another country, the man would already be in jail, but since we live in Mexico, perhaps these complaints will not have, let’s say, immediate results, but there is the figure of revocation of mandate that can be used. And here we must make a call to the politicians of his opposition: there is impeachment, so that they should not be omitted”, he said.
