A clash broke out between Indian and Chinese soldiers in the Dawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh, India. A spokesperson of the Indian Army said that the clash took place on December 9, 2022. The Indian Army told the BBC that Chinese troops entered Arunachal Pradesh’s Dawang sector on December 9 and India retaliated. A few soldiers from both sides were injured in the clash. Following this, the Indian Army says that the soldiers of both the countries immediately retreated from there.

It has been learned that the commander of the area held talks with the Border Command in China to establish a mutual peace after the clash.

Chinese soldiers suffered more injuries than Indian soldiers in the encounter in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, India’s leading English daily The Hindu reported citing Indian security officials.
