INDONESIA: The first few applications for a licensed oil export permit

The first few applications have been submitted seeking permission to export crude oil to Indonesia after the ban was lifted.

Indonesia has resumed oil exports after a three-week ban.

As of now, about 6 companies have applied for export permits.

Meanwhile, Indonesian oil refineries are required to set aside a portion of their exports to the local market.

The Indonesian government plans to export 1 million tonnes of sesame oil within the stipulated time.
