Violence erupted at a soccer stadium in Malang, Indonesia last week during a soccer match on Saturday. It is reported that 174 people died and more than 180 were injured in this violence and the ensuing stampede.

In this situation, the Indonesian Football Federation has announced that 2 officials of the football club concerned have been banned for life in connection with this violent incident. Similarly, it is reported that the football club has been fined around 13 lakh rupees in Indian currency.
