jpnn.com – Jay Idzes assesses that the Indonesian National Team supporters are at a different level.

The defender, who currently has a career in Serie A with Venezia, admits that he always gives goosebumps when he appears in front of Red and White supporters.

Idzes didn’t even feel that with Venezia even though he was playing in one of the best football competitions in the world.

“I chose (Indonesian supporters) because they are at a different level. I got goosebumps walking on the field and singing the song Indonesia Raya.”

“It feels like I’m on a different level. I don’t want to choose (supporters) from another country in the world,” said Idzes in Thom Haye’s podcast entitled The Haye Way.

Idzes is one of the most consistent Indonesian national team players playing abroad.

The 23 year old defender has always been Venezia’s first choice. Idzes appeared in 14 matches, and was always a starter.

Idzes even scored one goal when Venezia held Italian giants Juventus to a draw.
