jpnn.com – Justin Hubner showed high self-confidence after the Indonesian U-23 National Team crushed Jordan 4-1 in the final Group A match of the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup.
Indonesia celebrated thanks to goals from Marselino Ferdinan (p.23′, 70′), Witan Sulaeman (40′), and Komang Teguh (86′).
Jordan’s consolation goal came after Justin Hubner accidentally committed suicide in the 79th minute.
This positive result ensures that Garuda Muda graduates to the quarter-finals of the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup with status runner up Group A.
After the match, a euphoric Hubner called the victory over Jordan easy.
“Hello everyone. Come on, come on. Easy win, friends,” said Hubner in a video uploaded to the Indonesian National Team’s Instagram account.
In this match, Hubner played the full 90 minutes. Apart from his mistake in sweeping the ball which resulted in a goal for Jordan, the Cerezo Osaka defender appeared straightforward in guarding Garuda’s defense.
Jordan even found it difficult to penetrate the back row of the Indonesian U-23 National Team.
