Indore: The drug trade is increasing in Madhya Pradesh’s industrial city Indore. The women of the city had complained about this to Urban Administration Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya on Saturday. On their complaint, Vijayvargiya had warned the police and said to give them 3 days’ time. After his warning, the police swung into action and launched a search campaign against drugs on Sunday.
In fact, Urban Administration Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya had gone to Bhagirathpura area on Saturday for the ground breaking ceremony of development works. Then the women of the area surrounded him. They complained about the large scale sale of brown sugar and other intoxicants in the area. After listening to them, Vijayvargiya warned the Banganga police and said that the drug trade should be stopped in three days, if all this is not stopped in three days then strict action will be taken.
After the warning, police reached the house of the drug peddler
After the warning of Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, the police team reached the drug peddlers’ house directly. They caught them and brought them directly to the police station. During the search, many miscreants managed to escape after seeing the police. In fact, 90% of all criminal incidents in Indore are due to the consumption of illegally sold drugs. Regarding this, the women of the area had complained against the drug addicts.

ACP Dhairya Singh Yevale said that our campaign against drug abuse is continuing. Police also reached some special places. There is a gathering of drug addicts here but on seeing them, the drug addicts had already fled from there. However, some have been caught.
