Indore: Woman burns her adopted daughter’s private parts for urinating on her bed. The incident took place in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. They adopted a nine-year-old girl from a close relative. A case was registered against the 40-year-old mother under sections 294, 323, 324 and 506 of the IPC. But no arrests were made.
Child Welfare Committee (CWC) president Pallavi Porwal said that the girl suffered severe burns on her private parts. I have lost some hair on my head. Pallavi stated that Manthi had cut her body with nails. They added that it is clear that the adopted woman has treated the child in an extremely cruel manner and POCSO should also be charged.
The police informed that the girl is now undergoing treatment and her statement has been recorded.
