Atizapan of Zaragoza was positioned as the safest Mexican municipality, and it registered a perception of insecurity of 56.6% according to the National Public Safety Survey (ENSU), corresponding to the First Quarter of 2024.
The survey published by the National Institute of Statistic and Geography (INEGI) places this municipality as the safest in the State of Mexico, since the perception of insecurity is below the national average, which was 61.0%.

Likewise, the Mexican municipality with the highest perception of insecurity is Naucalpan with 89.6%, followed by Ecatepec with 84.6%, in third place is Chimalhuacan con 78.9%, Toluca with 77.9% and Cuatitlán Izcalli with 71%.
Meanwhile, the improvement in the perception of security in Atizapan of Zaragoza of the “Community Surveillance Plan by Quadrants”, which allows a better response to any emergency.
