On Infinity plus the Champions League starts amidst controversy. There was no shortage of problems for Mediaset’s streaming service on the opening night of the group stage of the top continental competition. Two Italians also on the field, Juventus and Atalanta, respectively against Malmoe and Villarreal. And as already happened with Dazn with Serie A matches, subscribers to Infinity plus also flood the social networks to report that the service “does not work” or goes into buffering too often. In short, the problem has not gone unnoticed.
And Infinity made mea culpa on social media, saying it was ready to repair the damage. “We apologize to you. A technical problem has occurred. We are working to solve it as quickly as possible”, is the first message posted on the Twitter profile of Mediaset Infinity. “Sorry, there were so many – reads in a second tweet -. We apologize to those who have had disruptions even though the problem was not caused by us. We have decided to extend the deadline of the billing month of Infinity + to everyone by 15 days”.
