Infinix offers Hot 12i at an affordable price, and impresses two members of the series

by time news

Today, Infinix has unveiled the Hot 12 series, called its predecessor, the Hot 12i. This appears to be the lower level of the trio and the entry level issue.

The Infinix Hot 12i features a Helio A22 chipset with a quad-core 2.0GHz CPU. On paper, the RAM is 4GB, but the company currently only offers 2GB and 3GB options. The storage capacity is 64 GB and there is a microSD slot dedicated to expanding it.

The brand doesn’t reveal much about the cameras – we know they’re 13MP with the main AF shooter, and we can only assume 2MP for portrait and other macro shots. The selfie camera is located on the back of the waterdrop notch and has an 8-megapixel sensor.

On the front is a 6.82-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 720 pixels. XOS 7.6 is based on Android 11.

The phone has a 3.5mm audio jack, but it does have a micro USB port, which will be nothing but a deal breaker for anyone in 2022. The battery capacity is 5,000mAh.

The Infinix Hot 12i is currently available in Nigeria in four colours: black, green, gold and blue. The 2/64 GB version is priced at NGN 61,800 ($ 150) and the 3/64 GB version is priced at NGN 67,000 ($170).

The other two phones are yet to be named, but one will have two cameras on the back, and the other one will come with a triple shooter and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
