BOLZANO. Istat today released the territorial inflation data for November, on the basis of which the National Consumers Union has drawn up the complete ranking of all the most expensive cities in Italyin terms of an increase in the cost of living. Not only, therefore, regional capital cities or municipalities with more than 150 thousand inhabitants.
At the top of the ranking is Bolzano where the trend inflation of +2.1%, the highest in Italy, also translates into the highest additional annual expenditure, equivalent to 608 euros for an average family. Silver medal for Rome, which is evidently affected by the Jubilee effect and which, having the second highest inflation in the country ex aequo with Genoa, Syracuse and Macerata, +2%, also has the second highest increase in annual spending, equal to 518 euros per family. Trento comes in seventh place (+1.6%, +471 euros).
At the top of the ranking of the most “expensive” regions with an annual inflation of +1.8%, Trentino Alto Adige records an average burden of 512 euros per family on an annual basis.
Followed by Lazio, where the growth in prices of 1.9%, the highest in the country at a regional level, implies a surge in the cost of living equal to 464 euros, third is Liguria, +1.8% and an increase in per year of 420 euros.
