The Mexican population once again takes a break after the new report from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi) regarding inflation during the first half of September, since the organization reported that it was located at a 4.66 percent.

The organization also revealed that the underlying price index increased 0.21% at a biweekly rate and 3.95% at an annual rate. In the same period, the non-core price index registered a variation of -0.31% fortnightly and 6.73% annually.

Within the underlying index, at a biweekly rate, the prices of merchandise grew 0.18% and those of services, 0.24% and prices of agricultural products decreased 0.83% and those for energy and rates authorized by the government rose 0.11 percent.

Regarding the variation in prices caused by the inflation report, the products that had an increase in value were softeners and cleaners, housing, LP Gas, lemonexpenses in primary, secondary and university, as well as catering.

On the other hand, the services and products that registered a decrease in prices were professional services, tomato, orange, banana, avocado, pumpkin, chickensugar and electricity.
