Inflation: wages could increase by 4.3% in 2023

The first requests appeared before the summer. “Inflation”, “cost of living”, “salaries”: the trade unions of this large Ile-de-France company with more than 15,000 employees have put pressure so that the message is heard. After benefiting from a 3% increase for all employees in January 2022 and then an additional 2% in July for non-executives, expectations remained high in the face of soaring prices. So in October, the negotiations ended in a unanimous agreement. “All non-executive employees got a 5.5% salary increase for 2023 and executives got 4.5%, excluding bonuses”, deciphers a human resources manager.
