August inflation in Argentina was 12.4%, as reported on Wednesday by the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses of that country. It is the highest monthly record in the last 32 years. The accumulated inflation of the last 12 months was 124.4%. The country is in a regime of high inflation, which seems to have no way out. And that creates great difficulties for its inhabitants, who see how their salaries systematically lose purchasing power.
