Influencer Tiago Toguro was involved in a car accident in Rio de Janeiro, early on Friday (3), which caused the death of one person. In a note sent to R7Lamsa, the concessionaire that manages the Linha Amarela, confirmed the collision, between a vehicle and a motorcycle, and the death of the motorcyclist.
“Lamsa informs that there was an accident involving a car and a motorcycle early on Friday (03/03), around 1:20 am, at exit 9B, in Bonsucesso, towards Fundão. the motorcyclist’s death. The Civil Defense was at the scene and removed the body to the IML”, says the note.
On social networks, Toguro commented on what happened, this Saturday afternoon (4), confirmed that he was driving the vehicle and regretted the death of the motorcyclist.
“One fatality, where unfortunately he collided with the rear of the vehicle and lost his life. At no time did I reverse gear. I stayed at the scene, waited for the victim to receive medical attention, made myself available to the authorities so that the alcohol test and toxic substances could be carried out”, said the influencer.
Toguro also wrote that he was released by the police authorities to return to São Paulo and made himself “available to the victim’s family to help in whatever way possible”.
“From the moment of the accident until now, I haven’t been well, that’s why the silence and for this reason I preferred not to speak out and respect the mourning of family and friends, and in a veiled way help them in whatever way possible, knowing that no value will be brought back to the victim and much less ease the suffering and pain of those who loved him”, added the influencer.
In a note, the press office of the Civil Police informed the report that an investigation was launched to investigate the case at the 21st DP (Bonsucesso) and the “investigation is in progress to clarify the facts”.
