Sean Combs is an influential American rapper and music producer. He was arrested on charges of sexual harassment and trafficking of women. When he was produced in court on Tuesday (September 17), the judge refused to grant him bail and sent him to jail.
According to a Reuters report citing prosecutors, Sean Combs has been charged with three criminal charges, including sex trafficking and coercing women as part of a long scheme to exploit his stardom. His bail application was denied by Manhattan Federal Court Judge Robin Tarnofsky.
Attorney Mark Agnifilo represented Sean Coombs. Claims sexual activity is ‘consensual’. Throwing questions at the judge, Mark Agnifilo said, ‘Does everyone have the experience of being close like this? no Is it trafficking in women? no Unless everyone wants to be there.’
Homeland Security arrested Sean Combs, 54, at a Manhattan hotel on the night of September 16. Sean Combs is also known as ‘DD’ to his fans.
Three-time Grammy Award winner Sean was accused of sex trafficking in November last year. At that time, he was accused of 10 sexual assaults. Apart from this, a case of torture was filed against him. According to the complaint, Sean used to brutally sexually assault the women.
Allegedly, he forced women to become victims of sexual abuse through the use of drugs, which started an uproar in the music world. Homeland Security arrested the rapper while investigating the incident.
