By the end of June 2023, localities have handed over the ground to the North-South Expressway Project about 608km out of a total length of 721km of the whole route.

However, the construction site area can only reach more than 523km (about 72.5%).

In 2023, the capital allocated for the ground clearance of the North-South Expressway phase 2 is about 14,865 billion VND.
