The price of gold, which had experienced an unprecedented rise in price, is now gradually declining.
Day by day the price of gold in the world market fluctuates. According to this, the price of one ounce of gold has been recorded as 6,34,708 rupees in terms of Sri Lanka Rupees.
Slight rise in gold prices
Gold prices have been rising marginally for the past few days. In Sri Lanka, one pound of 24 karat gold has been reported at Rs 1,79,150 according to the gold standard. Similarly, one pound of 22 carat gold was Rs 1,64,200.
In this case, one pound of 21 carat gold was reported at 1,56,750 rupees yesterday. However, it has been announced that the price of jewelery gold will fluctuate from these prices.
Current gold price
Meanwhile, a pound of 22 carat gold has seen a record high of Rs 2,00,000 in the last few months.
However, in the next few days, the price of gold decreased by 20 to 40 thousand rupees and now it is selling at a price of around 1,60,000 rupees.
