Infosys reported a net profit of Rs 6,021 crore for the September quarter of 2022.
The country’s second largest I.T. Services major Infosys has released its September quarter financial results. Infosys reported a net profit of Rs 6,021 crore for the September quarter of 2022. This is 11.1 percent higher than the September 2021 quarter. Infosys posted a net profit of Rs 5,421 crore in the quarter.
Infosys reported an operating income of Rs 36,538 crore in the September quarter of 2022. This is 23.4 percent higher than the same quarter last year. Infosys reported an operating income of Rs 29,602 crore in the September quarter of 2021. Infosys has announced a share buyback for Rs 9,300 crore.
The board of directors of Infosys has declared an interim dividend of Rs 16.50 per share to the shareholders of the company. At the close of trading on the Mumbai Stock Exchange yesterday, Infosys shares were up 3.82 per cent at Rs 1,474.05 over the previous trading day.
