Infront proposes partnerships to Lega A until 2030, ready to cover ‘Mena’ deficit

by time news

Infront presented, by sending the letter to Lega Serie A and the clubs, an expression of interest in creating a strategic partnership for the two sales cycles of TV rights, up to 2030. The media and sports marketing company, led by Alessandro Giacomini, has the expertise and funds to be able to support the League by taking charge of that part of the rights of the current three-year period, which have remained unsold at the moment. Until last season, Infront held the role of advisor, while in this season it acquired the international TV rights with the exception of the United States and the Middle East-North Africa region (Mena).

In particular, the lack of an agreement with BeIn, which paid 112 million euros a year for the Mena region in the three-year period 18-21. The offer, according to time.news, is to become a partner in the commercialization of the rights to the Mena and cover any deficit, with the opportunity to study a project for the next six years as a partner on the various projects of the A league.

Infront is convinced that it can have a very different deficit on the Mena and asks for a partnership agreement to develop the League’s projects, in particular at an international level and in the eventual creation of a Lega channel, perhaps starting from abroad. In addition to this, the distribution of media and betting rights, domestic and foreign, for the three-year periods 2024-2027 and 2027-2030.

As for the clubs, for some the feedback is positive, others remain at the window. In any case, the Assembly of 19 October, which has the topic Mena on its agenda, will probably also talk about the Infront proposal which asked to sit down and evaluate what to do within 20 days.
