JULY, THE MONTH WITH THE MOST INCOME OF TOURISTS

According to the data presented by the Inguat authorities, the month with the highest influx of tourists was July, with more than 259 thousand entries registered, followed by the month of April with 246 thousand entries and August, with 244 thousand visitors.

The figures have registered an increase in relation to what was registered in the same period of 2022. According to the figures, 1,795,018 people have arrived in Guatemala between January and August. Meanwhile, in the same period in 2022, 1,132,396 were reported, which means an increase of more than half a million people in 2023.

In addition, a recovery of 102% is reported compared to the pre-pandemic year, when 1,761,658 admissions to the country were reported.
