The lawyer said that so far they have not had a response from the City hall and they have not seen interest from civil protection to verify how the gas station is operating.
“The three orders of government, municipal, state and federal, enter into this issue, in the federal they are based on construction and for the issue of hydrocarbon protection in various technical regulations, two of them establish that the property must be being more than 30 meters away from a stream and here we are much less than that distance,” he said.
He mentioned that at the state level corresponds the operation and the permits that they would have to have as the Environmental impact statement (MIA), however, do not know if the company has them since they have not received a response from the City Council.
“On the municipal issue there is a regulation that is specific for this type of business dedicated to the sale and storage of hydrocarbons and it establishes that they cannot be less than 15 meters from a house, and it is visible that it is not being applied in this business and that is the concern of the neighbors”, he pointed out.
