Personal security is at a low ebb
(Hai Fah) – A 17-year-old resident of Kfar Manda was arrested today on suspicion of having committed an indecent act with a schoolgirl in Haifa, Ben Kotli, during school hours.
The Israel Police informed Lahi Pa:
The police arrested a short time ago a 17-year-old resident of Kfar Manda on suspicion of having committed an indecent act with a schoolgirl in Haifa.
The police opened an investigation today after receiving a complaint from a 17-year-old schoolgirl in Haifa, alleging that a cleaning worker at the school did something obscene to her. The incident took place between the walls of the school, during school hours.
In the meantime, Haifa police officers arrested the suspect, a 17-year-old resident of Kfar Manda, a short time ago on suspicion of committing the acts.
Depending on the development of the investigation, the police will decide whether to request an extension of the suspect’s detention at the Haifa Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.

The school said in response to Lai Pa:
This is an unusual incident investigated by the Israel Police, during which a 17-year-old cleaning worker approached an 11th grade student and tried to kiss her, she immediately pushed him away and went to the class center.
The parents were immediately informed and arrived at the school. The police arrested the suspected employee.
The school management takes the incident seriously and informed the contractor company of its intention to stop its work.
The school staff is in contact with the student and will provide her with all the necessary assistance.
