SHAFTS – Monster Energy Yamaha Racer, Fabio Quartararo suffered an injury ahead of the 2023 Dutch MotoGP race. However, he remains hopeful of achieving positive results in the 8th race series on the MotoGP calendar this season.
The 2023 Dutch MotoGP race will be held at the Assen Circuit on Sunday (6/25/2023) evening WIB. A series of racing sessions will start today, Friday (23/6), with the first and second free practice.
Unfortunately, Quartararo had to face an unpleasant injury ahead of the 2023 Dutch MotoGP race. While jogging, the racer nicknamed El Diablo suffered a fracture in his toe.
Even so, Quartararo still has the chance to participate in the 2023 Dutch MotoGP race session. He gave a warning to his team ahead of the race.
“For me, if we are not fast here (Assen), we will not be fast anywhere,” said Quartararo as quoted from Motosan, Friday (23/6/2023).
Quartararo actually has quite high optimism for this race series because the Assen Circuit is one of his favorite circuits. However, he and the Yamaha team are facing a difficult situation after the previous races. El Diablo only hopes to achieve better results than the previous race.
“Assen is one of my favorite circuits and I always perform well here. Even though we had some difficulties with the bike, and at the Sachsenring we hoped to be fast but we weren’t,” he said.
“We hope to get a good result and finish the race in a good position,” added the driver who is currently eighth in the standings.
