It is possible to open innovation centers in Lankaran, Mingachevir and Nakhchivan.
As Day.Az reports, this was reported to Trend on Tuesday by the Chairman of the Board of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (İRİA) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan Inara Velieva.
“The innovation center in Baku has already been opened. In the near future, there are plans to open centers in Sumgait and Ganja, as well as possibly in other cities. Our approach is to work closely with local businesses. For example, representatives of Lankaran and Mingachevir recently contacted us. We ready to cooperate. At the moment, the plan has been confirmed for Sumgayit and Ganja, but options are also being considered in Nakhchivan, Lankaran, Mingachevir and other cities,” she said.
Let us recall that the Agency for Innovation and Digital Development was created in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated October 11, 2021 as a public legal entity under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.
The Agency for Innovation and Digital Development serves to organize activities in the field of digital transformation in the country, create a local innovation environment, and strengthen the ecosystem.
