For the prevention of insecurity, 19 police units are deployed, in addition, there is a security plan that consists of 3 axes: preventive, investigative and intelligence.
Security operations are carried out at times when there is a greater influx of crime, which is when people go to or leave their jobs or educational institutions. In the morning from 08:00 to 10:00 and in the afternoon from 16:00 to 20:00.
As for the prevention of vehicle theft, there is the “Vigilante Seguro” plan, which aims to reduce the crimes of theft of motorcycles, vehicles, auto parts and accessories.
Pedro Gualle stated that he has felt the decrease in insecurity compared to previous months, however, he requests that there be more control during peak hours and that special care be taken with the elderly, since they are more prone to being attacked by of the delinquents in their daily visits to the plaza.
