In the declaration, it is said that the two judges insisted on the formation of a five-member larger bench under the chairmanship of Justice Jamal, the Chief Justice opposed the formation of a larger bench, and the three-member committee unanimously approved the formation of the Shariat Appellate Bench. In the meeting, it was decided to give additional cases to the bench consisting of ad hoc judges. Justice (R) Sardar Tariq Masood and Justice (R) Mazhar Alam Mian Khel sent a letter to the Chief Justice. According to the judges, they decided ten cases within one hour.
