by time news

The INSS (National Social Security Institute) has new rules for retirees, pensioners and other aids to carry out proof of life. Before, it was necessary to do the procedure in person, going to the bank branch where the insured person receives the benefit.

In 2023, the INSS changed the rules for proof of life and it will be up to the municipality itself to validate it based on a data crossing with information from various government agencies.

According to information from the Institute, proof will become automatic for approximately 17 million retirees and pensioners. The objective is to prove that the citizen is alive and able to receive the benefit.
