Installation of an Honorary Consul of Morocco in Osaka
Osaka – The new Honorary Consul of Morocco in Osaka, Mr. Masayoshi Matsumoto, CEO of the Japanese industrial giant, Sumitomo Electric Industries, was installed, Tuesday, in his new functions by the Ambassador of the Kingdom to Japan, Mr. Rachad Bouhlal.
On this occasion, Mr. Bouhlal recalled the excellence of relations between Morocco and Japan, based on the close ties of friendship and mutual esteem uniting the Royal Family of Morocco and the Imperial Family of Japan.
With his remarkable experience, particularly in the industrial field, Mr. Matsumoto is able to contribute significantly to the promotion of economic relations between the two countries, Mr. Bouhlal stressed.
For his part, Mr. Matsumoto said he was particularly honored by this appointment, expressing, at the same time, his determination to contribute, as Honorary Consul of the Kingdom in Osaka, to the promotion of friendly relations between Morocco and Japan.
