The presentation of this free and optional service, which is already available for all NOSSA products, took place in the BAI Academy Auditorium.

This is a pioneering service in the Angolan insurance market, which allows customers to make periodic and automatic payments through prior authorization to debit their bank account.

With Direct Debit, NOSSA Seguros customers will be able to pay for policies in a faster, more practical and safer way, through automatic debit in a bank account of their choice.

Marcelo Perdigão, Executive Director of NOSSA Seguros, in statements to the press, underlined that “the advantages of this service are unique”.

“Direct Debit is very practical, convenient and flexible, as it allows you to pay the insurance premium in several installments automatically, even if the customer forgets the deadline, and in the account of his choice, which can be from any bank national,” he clarified.

The person in charge also points out that, in addition to being an automatic process, there is a permanent connection with the Customer.

“Before and after any debit, the customer is informed about the status of payments, through reminders and notifications via SMS and e-mail that goes from 30, 15 to 5 days before the debit. Once the amount has been debited, you also receive confirmation of the settlement of that fraction, together with your policy documents”, he explained.

Direct Debit is now available at all NOSSA Seguros branches. To subscribe to the service, the Customer only has to fill in a payment authorization which contains, among other data, information from a bank account which he/she holds, and from which he/she wishes to debit payments.

Activation of the service is the responsibility of EMIS and the customer’s bank, after validation of the respective contract.
