At a time when cyber threats are a central axis for the security and resilience of businesses in the digital world, Frontline SA Insurance Brokers, with the manager of the Giannena office Feni Kaffe – Papakosta, in collaboration with KPMG and AIG, organized a special cyber security event on April 3 at Hotel Du Lac.
The aim of the event was to inform and raise awareness among the participants about the current challenges and modern solutions in the field of cyber security.
The event started with KPMG’s senior manager cyber security consulting Nikos Astyfidis, who shared with the attendees information and statistical data on recent trends in cyber security, highlighting the need for a dynamic and proactive approach to dealing with cyber risks.
This was followed by AIG’s financial lines manager Kostas Voulgaris, who highlighted the growing importance of protecting businesses from cyber risks and presented the company’s proposals for integrated insurance solutions, such as Cyber Edge, its insurance product against electronic and online risks, as well as and the phases of a Cyber Claim, focusing on the importance of preparing and responding quickly in the event of cyber attacks. He also emphasized the value of prevention, through education and continuous information, as a key tool to protect companies.
The event concluded with a discussion open to the public, during which participants had the opportunity to ask questions and exchange views with the experts. Audience participation and active input confirmed the strong interest in cybersecurity and the importance of protection in the digital world.
