Baghdad/Al-Masala Al-Hadath: The Military Intelligence Directorate announced, on Monday, the arrest of three people accused of terrorism in Anbar and Baghdad governorates.
A statement by the directorate stated, “As part of its efforts to pursue the remaining remnants of ISIS terrorist gangs, and based on accurate intelligence information from the command divisions of the 10th and 17th Divisions affiliated with the Directorate of Military Intelligence, and in cooperation with the intelligence and force of the 40th and 55th Brigades, and through precise ambushes set up by the detachments, it was able to… (3) defendants wanted by the Iraqi judiciary were arrested in accordance with the provisions of Article (4/Terrorism) in the Al-Suqur and Al-Intisar areas, which are affiliated with the Fallujah district and the Al-Ridwaniyah area.
He added, “The accused were working and belonging to ISIS terrorist gangs,” stressing that “they will be handed over to the fundamentally requested authorities.”
